Final Boss

I haven't played in a while and seem to have forgotten some basics. I'm in the Chamber of Souls with the final guy to beat but can't craft grenades or whatever I need to do with those cups. Either I'm out of magnesite (where do I see what I have???) or don't otherwise remember how to craft them. Walkthroughs say there is magnesite in that chamber, but I can't find it. But I do seem to need grenades to beat him, I tried without and simple distraction doesn't seem to work, even if I attack him twice, the final QTE is not triggered.

You mean Konstantin? You can craft grenades in cans if you have the resources but you don't need to. You can simply creep up behind him and melee him with the axe.

There's 2 maybe 3 piles of magnesite in the chamber. Before you "activate" Konstantin, walk around the chamber. Use your highlight key if you can't seem them. There's arrows, mushrooms & magnesite in there.
To craft, middle mouse key.
@Jac...I use the magnesite to weaken him.

Thanks for the replies! I figured out the melee/axe thing, but doing so twice doesn't trigger the QTE and I can't do it a third time. Konstantin is obviously already activated, so maybe I better go back to last save point.
