gamebreaking bug - soviet installation challenge tomb

I got to the part where you grab the campfire in that tomb, went a bit exploring in it and then reloaded the save - but now the entire cave is filled with water and Lara just drowns, all saves including the backup save just bring me back to the campfire - underwater with no way out.

You should be able to 'fast travel' out of there to any other 'open' campsite....them go back later and try it....I would re-enter the tomb from the top and NOT fast travel to the campsite.

I cant even get to the campfire because everything is underwater including the campfire place

Then I think you are better starting the game again. Making back to that place should take you 2-3hours of gameplay.

Is not that much.

Is bad luck indeed, never had your problem and I left the game on that basecamp a couple of times. Don't do it again just in case.

Do you not have the option to return to previous check point on the pasue menu?

the previous checkpoint was at the same place (the campfire at the entrance to the tomb), including the backup save
guess I can delete that save then
