Do you have the grapple axe yet? If so, that's the only "cheat" there is.
However, if you want 100% in Baba Yaga & don't feel like spending "hours" trying to get it, you can always go to Stella's Tomb Raider (Google it) and download a saved game for this.
Good luck
I honestly do not want to use anyone else saves or anything I do like to try and do things myself but I am really getting frustrated at it. It's not the messing up its the big ass climb back up over and over thats the problem.
You have to get through Geothermal Valley first.
The story progress I am at is just after escaping after being captured and meeting Jacob for first time. Right after the escape this dlc mission becomes avilable so I have done this and the side missions in the area, I think the mission objective at the moment is to go through the saw mill or whatever building it is to find Jacob who after saving you said he was going to his village.
I'm no far in the game and based on Sams reponse I guess I have a little way to go before I get the grapple axe.
Be patient. Once you get the grapple axe, you can immediately return to get that document.
That's what I did. I had the grapple axe when I returned to clean the place out.
I didn't realize shooting those lamps was a challenge until it was too late (Why are they glowing? Couldn't think of a reason until I saw those glowing weights above them - OH!) so I was only able to get a couple before the gondola reached its destination... Am I able to ride the gondola again to get them or is that lost forever?
Just use fast travel to get back Wicked Vale, enter the lift and shoot 'em up. But I see some players got problem when they not active/finish challenges through campain progress so besure you beat them in one-time play through.
You can even mess up a little. My timing with the rope arrow was not entirely perfect and on the critical jump I came in a little short and Lara had to pull herself up from the edge. Still made it. It's really not that hard but I also did it after finishing everything else so I had the grapple axe.
