The Rumor Come Out: Does Lara Croft is Gay?
A lot of people thought there was something between her and Sam in the 2013 game, and I just beat Cold Darkness and the girl on the helicopter seemed to be cuddling up to her.

I dunno, I just keep getting gay vibes from Tomb Raider games.

Urggg! I'm not paying to much attention about this, but seem like the sequel lost a lot of thing. I'm really concern about future of TR Reboot franchise, hope Crystal Dynamic can keep up pros, improve cons of previous games and Square Enix know what they having.
If the Reddit leak is true, that means Crystal Dynamics isn't making Tomb Raider anymore, Ubisoft Montrel is. They've made some games in the past that were pretty successful, so only time can tell if they're going to be doing more of what Crystal was doing (tps survival cinematic experience graphics extravaganza), or shift back to making games the way Core and old Crystal made them, or even something completely different.
Oh my god, no, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no! Ubisoft are some of the worst AAA developers. They don't know what fun is.

All their games now follow the same lazy open world routines. Is Tomb Raider gonna have generic side missions repeated fifty times, with copied mission givers (NPCs)? Is it gonna have towers that you have to climb in order to unlock secrets on the map and open up areas, like in AC, Far Cry 3/4, Batman: Origins (I know this isn't by Ubisoft, but it was made in Montreal and follows the same rule.) and Watch Dogs? Their automated controls are clunky and less intuitive than manual controls. Assassin's Creed still has the same bad platforming that it had ten years ago, because Ubisoft never improves their games, they just add more features. Will Tomb Raider auto-target platforms now and is Lara gonna climb anything she runs into, like Altair and Ezio?

Ubisoft's games have too many interruptions for mediocre and bad stories. It takes forever for their games to really get started. So many cutscenes, forced tutorials, menus, walking and talking sections, and more.

Ubisoft doesn't have an ounce of creativity left. Their games are made to sell to as many people as possible. Well, the new Tomb Raider shooters are too, but they're lower on my ♥♥♥♥ list.

Ah, yeah, I did see the twist with the Baba Yaga DLC coming almost instantly. The clues were too obvious.

Why do these people always write their characters as gay or straight? Why never bi? Why did Lara Croft's sexuality even need to be implied when the previous games, from what I know, never had love interests?
I did think her and the prophet dude would make a cute couple when I was playing the game, and I thought that's where they were going with it, so I was honestly imagining her as more bi.

Anyways it doesn't really matter, I guess.

And a lot of the storyline follows the same template as the previous game, only in a slightly different (but not all that different) setting.

In one document in TR 2013 from Samantha she talks about her trips with Lara, how they went to clubs which Lara wasn't that much into at first ... and how they met quite a couple of cute guys...

While nothing is exactly confirmed nor denied, I guess Lara is supposed to be rather straight, though as a scientist and with her newfound love for thrills I think she is open to a lot of things, you only live once after all as long as you don't find some weird ancient ♥♥♥♥♥ ^^

In regards to a sequel: I really, really hope for two things:

they keep the Lara we got now (her personality, looks and voice), and they keep the gameplay, which means puzzles, action, fight, acrobatics, a bit of survival sprinkled in, and storywise a continuation of the Trinity/Father Croft -Ark

And that she dual wields pistols next ...three things I meant

Mileage may vary. I liked the previous entries (pre-TR2013) for the platforming and puzzles rather than combat - IMO both TR2013 and ROTTR put too much emphasis on that.

That's Rhianna Pratchett's rebooted version of Lara for us. Personally I'm glad she won't be involved any longer.

Really? I've really enjoyed the two reboot games. And, as a lesbian myself, it would be pretty cool to see Lara and another girl make a cute couple, so I don't really have an issue with it. I'm just more suprised. What didn't you like about her writing?

I don't care or mind whether Lara is lesbian or whatever but the writing in general is atrocious in RotTR. It's barely preteen level when you have to listen to the childish, shallow as a puddle, inane exchanges between Lara and Jacob or her lame, dumb monologues. Just about every single cutscene was an eyerolling, facepalming cringefest. It was really, really bad. I am also glad Pratchett has gotten the boot. The series urgently needs a much better writer.

sex sells because both male and female are perverts and based on curtrent trends, most women love fetishes and are just if not more perverted then most men. ironic.. I know. xD

"prophet " = jesus christ. It wasn't even an orinial idea. there have been stories for cetnuries about what if chirst lived and where he was if he was alive. these rumors were all christian fanfiction back shortly after jesus's death to the medieval ages. It was a dumb story that brought me back to the days of sunday school. the story was a complete rip off. it should of been called tomb raider the bible tracker. the "prophet" is and was jesus. there was from the start of the game no way there was going to have romantic story line between lura and the "prophet"

why does it matter if lura is gay or straight or even bi? what does that have to do with game play?
if your trying to relate to video game characters and compare fantasy charcters from fantasy worlds with your life in the real world? you need friends, a life and professional help.

no hate, just you seem confused with life in general.

loli? -.- isn't that child anime porn? jeezzz gross!

seriously seek help. kay? bye.

That can be said of any game ever written besides a few outliers. :steammocking:
So what's your point? You've only now just realized games have contrived plots and repeat the same formulaic approach across the board? Originality is dead, kid.
