Need Money

I am really enjoying the game. The problem that I have encountered is lack of mony. The "Craft Tool" is 175 coins and after 20 hrs I only have 45 coins. Any fast way of getting money. Also what is with the gift card in the "Market". I flipped the cards that were under gifts...nothing seemed to happen in the game. TX

Just look for the caches around the map (the circular coin logo). Upgrade your skill that says something like get more resources from man made sources or something like that. It will give you more coins per cache if im not mistaken. Also the futher you go in the story the more coins you will get.

There's more than enough coins around, you can buy everything without a problem. Pick up maps and backpacks to reveal coin locations.

The Monoliths. They reveal the coin caches in the game.

The cards are to be used in all games under Expedition mode on the main menu.
This is where you will find Endurance Single Player and Coop, Score Attack, Chapter Replay, Chapter Replay Elite, Cold Darkness and Lara's Nightmare (which can also be access through Croft Manor on the main menu).
The cards enhance your game play, especially in Score Attack as each mode has challenges under different scenarios of the main game. Those cards can enhance your Lara or give her a serious disadvantage under these modes. The cards can also be used in Expedition mode both single player and coop as you go into this mode with no skills, equipment or resources and it is a game of survivial.
The gold rimmed cards are permanent and the rest are 1 time use.

You'll have more than enough coin to buy everything in Supply Shack. Just remember you should buy Enhanced Tool first. You'll find Carfting Tool in The Abandoned Mines if I remember correct.

the crafting tool in the shack is always the next tier from what you have. when you progress in the story you will get upgraded tools at certain points.

I save the commando outfit for last, i almost always get the grenade launcher first. that way you can blow up th dors you can't get past although you can get through all of them except 1 before you make it to geo thermal vally withpot it. I also chose the grenade launcher because you get your first rifle in the gulag so when you get to the flame thrower "boss" you can 1 shot him. only down side is you have to be very careful and save a grenade or 2 for him in case you don't find anymore or don't get the skil yet.
