Voice of God exit?

I just finished the Voice of God Tomb, but I cannot for the life of me find a way to get back to the main map. I followed what seemed like the obvious path with the rope arrows, but ended up on a dead end where you climb across a wall and there's nowhere to jump to. What am I missing? I'm incredibly frustrated if I have to restart the entire game because of this.

When you exit the tomb/crypt, head towards the right. Make a rope bridge, zip across. Go thru the archway, make another rope bridge, zip down. Walk forward, climb the wall, make rope arrow, zip down, take a few steps, drop down, turn right, you are now headed back towards the campfire.

I nearly went in a circle here, too. When you reach the spot where there's nowhere to jump to, just turn right and you'll see the way through the narrow rocks that leads back to the campfire.
