Does the game requires constant online connection to play?

Does the game require constant online connection to play? I have internet connection to download the game and patch, but I only have internet connection once a week.

No, you can play in Steam off-line mode, but you will be unable to get achievements, etc. as that is all online. I believe it would be like 2 seperate games, one online & one offline.
Also, you will not be able to play any of the sub-games under Expedition mode, including Endurance Coop as all those games require connection to Square Enix's server.

You will need to launch the game for the first time in online mode so denuvo can activate and check that you have a legit copy. After that you can play offline.

Correction:
Playing offline will also earn you the achievements. They will pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen like when you are playing online, but these achievements will only be recognized/registered by Steam the next time you go online in Steam. They will then show up in "Activity" as if you've earned them on the day you got online again. But the game itself will register them the moment they pop up offline.

I play my Steam games offline much of the time due to the lack of Internet signal in some of the places I go to every few weeks.

I didn't know this Henri. I thought if you aren't online (since they are online achievements) you don't ever earn them.
