Boars needed for Siberian Ranger Crafting won't respawn. Can't find them anywhere else

I can't help but feel this is one of those things where microtransactions is directly involved.

TL;DR - Every animal not related to this in game "craftable item" respawns indefinitely. While the Boars needed are not respawning. Good news though the outfit is available for $2.99 as a purchaseable item #ThumbsUp #Microtransactions4TW

- I decided it might be "fun" to craft the Siberian Ranger outfit which requires 5 Boar hides among other items.

- Best I can tell the Boars only appear on one small corner of the Geothermal Valley map which I was able to locate. Upon venturing to this area I immediately found two boars

- Unfortunately I was unable to carry the two boars in part because I didn't have enough inventory space and from what I can gather there is no way to manually select items to discard in your inventory. ie Once you pick it up you can't get rid of it until you consume it. Of course by the time I cleared inventory space the 2 boar hides were gone

- I figure okay go on a couple missions and come back, but still nothing.

- In an experiment that I am definitelty not proud of I basically hunted every animal in Geothermal Valley to extinction save for the birds. When I fast traveled to another area and came back every animal I had hunted respawned (Deer, Bears, Bobcats, Rabbits and Chickens....so many chickens)....except for the Wild Boars

Does anyone have a potential solution, or if not are you able to replicate what I have described?

So quick update. It seems I might have jumped the gun, in fact ultimately it seems in spite of the odd respawn logic of the required boars needed for crafting the Siberian Ranger outfit (relative to the respawn logic of other animals in game), the game seems to have gone a bit out of its way to help me.

I went back to an earlier save where I was able to collect the 2 boar hides. Soon after my post a quest became available from a woman near the Boars territory asking for boar skins, for the purpose of making...boar jerky?

This resulted in the boars respawning (I had 2 boar hides at this point). In addition because of perks I had I was able to collect the 5 hides needed in spite of only killing 4 boars. This even after I completed the quest that required the boar hides, where....I got to keep the hides I had collected for the woman setting out to make Boar jerky.

The end result is I got the skin completely from in game resources in a very reasonable period of time (around 30 minutes).
