Well, at first I was a bit hesitant about this. But if it means playing with someone else then I am up for it, assuming you mean the PC edition. Even then I'm sceptical about whether it will work or not. I tried it once before and it didn't work. But back then I was technically using an illegal copy. So maybe a retry might be necessary.

If you wish to add me, I can try to speak Italian but it is extremely limited. And maybe we can try to work this out. Because back in the day, beofre Windows 7 was a thing, you could actually access online multiplayer. It was in the 2000/XP era. But as I say we could always give it a try. So that I can be sure.

Problem to start Multiplayer (Online and directIP)

Hi guys!

my friend and i (Win7) tried to playing HoW via Multiplayer.

the first run was via tunngle - but the game doesnt starts and our pc´s crashes (hard reset)

the next run was the directplay without any options or others. - no connection possible because we cannot tip the ip adress of the host ingame.

someone has any idea how we can play HoW in multiplayer?

I dont know very well , because i can try with noboby, but i think we play in LAN party, pur your own number of servers, IP, and connecting to that server

I go on network select tcp/ip and the ip entry space is blank.

How do I get it to run on windows 10? When I try to run the game it just tells me I need steam to be running to start the game when it already is.
