Controler problems?

So far my xbox one controler is working fine with movment, but when i go to the menus i cant move up or down the menus. Does anyone else having these problems?

Press Alt+F4 while your in game to quit because you can't go to the main menu using Keyboard. once you did that restart the game again & the controller should work now. it's a bug when using Xbox 1 controller in this game.

Nah u dont need to alt f4 just press Y on pad use mouse to get to config menu and rebind any button of the pad does not matter if its the same bind and it will work again im doing so sofar no other way to fix it

Problem is that you can't press anything on the gamepad once you set it to gamepad mode for the first time, it's a bug that make the gamepad don't work on the first time. alt+f4 fix that problem.

Well for the first time it worked for me normal my problem is that later it randomly stops working again ingame and then i just do the above

i have the same issue with a xb1 controller, and alt f4 exits the game and then the issue persists when you re open it. this game absolutely blows on keyboard and mouse and blows even harder with a xb1 controller.

I know this thread is kind of old, but I think I know what triggers the problem for XBOX ONE controlers. If you press LT you can't up down left and right no longer works in menu navigations anymore. I have had this problem in a few but not all of my games where the controller works fine then I press LT and it just does not work anymore.

I have this problem too, just got an XB1 controller recently. Before this I had a 360 controller and it worked fine, but for some reason the D-pad always stops working randomly with the XB1 controller and I have to manually rebind them over and over again, which is really annoying. I don't know why this happens.
