To clarify (you know it, but for less experienced users): It will be removed from being sold. If you have it in your Steam library, you get to keep it (i.e. you can still install and play it after it isn't sold anymore).

Same happened to Space Hulk and Space Hulk: Ascension. The good news: You keep the game, the achievements and trading cards.

I don't know though if booster packs still drop for games not sold via Steam anymore.

Oh, brilliant! I had purchased the game a while back and when I heard it was leaving Steam, I became worried that I would not be able to install it ever again. So to confirm, as someone who has already purchased it, I can install and uninstall as I please, correct?

That's correct. It was uninstalled on my account and I just reinstalled, started and uninstalled it again for testing reasons, so it's confirmed.

It is in my library but I am unable to install it. It says it is downloading local files and then just hangs. What is the situation. I note that there are still websites selling Steam Keys for this game.

Sounds like a bug with steam or on your end. The game should still install fine even if it isn't for sale.

OK. It must have been a temporary glitch. It has now installed and is working. I was worried that there might have been an issue with a first time install, but all is good ;)
