Tekken 7 (SEVEN) is the Goat

I feel so blessed to have experienced the golden era of the Tekken 7 scene. The hype, the competition, the unforgettable moments... t was truly something special.

I tried the Tekken 8 demo, and honestly? It felt a bit simpler and just a tiny bit slower. Not saying it’s a bad game, but Tekken 7 just had that perfect balance of depth, speed, and execution that made every match feel electric.

I’m happy sticking with what gave me some of the best fighting game experiences ever. Tekken 7 is still the greatest of all time.

Plus, to even play Tekken 8 to the fullest, I’d have to either buy a PS5 or upgrade my PC, and I just can’t justify that anymore. Call it maturity, call it financial discipline, but I’m sticking with what already gave me some of the best gaming experiences ever. (I am repeating myself) Tekken 7 is still the greatest of all time.

game play wise, Tekken 7 at its prime (later season) is the best Tekken of all time
Tekken 8 is just beauty but hollow, the game dumbed down to just attack attack attack

You couldn't even play t7 on consoles for 3 years of it's life. And all the busted dlcs. Akuma, Leroy, geese, fahkumram

Towards the end it was some sleep matches with kuni mirrors too

hell yeah!

The game wasn't without it's flaws of course (busted DLC, akuma, etc), but it's a fun game. I personally haven't played T8 yet, and I'm fine with that. Nice to see some sugarposting in the steam community tab

the "tekken 8 is on early stage" isn't a good excuse

they already made the Tekken 7 last season, where everything being quite good

I agree. I don't have any plans to buy Tekken 8. I need two or three of my favourite characters to return first before I think to purchase it. Bob, Amour King, or Ganyru. Either Bob and Amour King or Bob and Ganryu or Amour King and Ganryu, or Bob, or Amour King or Ganryu. I'll give it a year or two to see if that happens. Nothing right now. What I've heard is Anna is returning.
