reasons why you should buy tekken 7 on steam and not in consoles
1_better graphics,
2_infinite customizable options graphics.
3_support developers, who break the game to steam pc, for the frst time ever .
4_more faster with 0 loading times.. XD and crisp, than any console on earth, even the ones didnt come yet, and the future ones, that dont even get invented yet...
5_make the online community of the game, grow with new comers ,and legacy players , that played tekken, from 90 ties ,like with playstation one and ARCADES
6_support fighting games on steam
7_ multiplayer will not cost money unlike on console

7_TEKKEN ON STEAM DREAM COME TRUE nothing else matters.

reasons why you should buy tekken 7 on console

1) From the beggining Tekken was made to play with multiple friends on comfort sofa
2) PC community will die after 1-2 months (Ofcourse I won't to, but this is more than sure. It happen to every single fighting game on PC)
3) PC version will be ported from console (we have seen many bad ports on UT3 engine, hope it will be even a little optimized but I have a bad feelings)
4) PC version will be abandoned more quicker by developers (well PS4 version alredy got exclusive DLC)
5) PC version will be way more vulnerable on hacks/macros/network manipulation
6) Tekken (like most fighting game) requires controller. Of course you can play on keyboard but plz... This is another expense

I'm not trolling and I'm also consider to buy Tekken on PC but I'm just tired of all Hypetrain games with "mostly negative/mixed" steam reviews after 3 days after release.

1. from the beginning Tekken was made for the arcades until today even Tekken 7 was out years before in the arcades! i played Tekken 7 over a year ago in Tokiyo! The arcades in Akihabera have 100dreds of tekken 7 machine sall connected so you can play against othe rplayers!

2. your point two is completely wrong! SOuls games still have mor eplayers for PvP than on Playstation!

3. It is actually developed for PC first this time using Unreal Engine 4! WROMG AGAIN

4. you obviously didnt read the interview with the developemnt team - go do that!

5. That is actually not true and no real issue either way!

6. PC gamers do have controllers you know! Lol I have a couple of Xbox 360, Xbox ONE and PS3 and 4 comntrollers that I can choose from actually!

I'm gonna buy it on PC then buy an adapter for arcade stick for it to work with PS4 to play with friends and maybe on some local events, who knows. Win-Win.

And if something goes wrong then well, steam refund. It's like almost nothing is lost this way.

Do you guys think the deluxe edition is worth the price. thinking of picking it up

Well the Deluxe for me is around $100, but it does have Split-screen local multiplayer...
Thats excellent.
So it may depend on if it will work on my living room Crossfire rig, at a minimum of 60fps at 1080p. Somone mentioned its only 900p ??

I also dont know if the combat style is more like `For Honor` or more like `CS:GO` with knife play.
Not sure...
If its all `controller clunky`, I might wait for (Origin) Star Wars 2... but that might not be better than the 1st.
Maybe there should be an option for Controller-type controls as a setting or Keyboard/Mouse controls as a setting. Match up with similar setting players only (on preference).

I'm buying it on PC instead of PS4 because the only potential benefit for PS4 (likely a larger online community, at least during the launch window) doesn't concern me as I play fighting games alone or with a couple other people in the room.

I also don't like paying to play games online (MMOs aside).

1 year of support is for pc, ps4 and xbone, they won't be "dropping any" before one year is up. and a controller should be owned by EVERYONE WHO PLAYS ON THE PC.

Free online.
I don't want to pay a monthly fee and play in 900p, that's why console peasants may go away.

1. PC version is getting split screen, and you can hook your PC up to modern TV's
2. Will probably have a couple thousand dedicated players.
3. All versions are being ported from the arcade version which is PC based.
4. Apparently devs are supporting all versions equally.
5. Well cant refute that one.
6. It does not require a controller, and besides you can plugin pretty much any controller into a PC also PC have controllers as well.

And finally multiplayer will not cost money unlike on console

Nah man. PC will get 4K at least. They even showed the gameplay in 4K.

And people saying optimisation will suck because PS4 can handle 60fps in decent graphics only in 900p are so clueless, this console can barely do 1080p 30fps and making stable 60fps required a resolution drop for such graphics. I don't know what kind of details the game was running at with 4K on 1080 but it looked smooth. Don't forget we got Steam Refunds so if optimisation is bad we can refund the game. If I hear that optimisation is bad, first what I'm gonna do is fight on all stages at least a round to see how true it is.

more than a couple thousand IF, AND ONLY IF the launch isn't a fail, and they properly test it across a variety of machines (though the minimum specs are pretty high, you can bet your ass there'll be more than a couple thousand dedicated players on t7... what makes or breaks a big title like this is the launch, being relatively bug free, and the quality of support)

but honestly, as long as game breaking bugs get patched up fix, and when the support ends the game is in an agreeable state, then when sales roll in there'll always be a good nr. of players on. honestly, this is a game I could seek 10k+ players concurrent sticking like skyrim if done right, because of the sheer replayability of this title in so many ways, and the grinding for customization loot we all love (Treasure battles)
