Music in Game

Hey, R8 Studio, you have revived a great game in the best traditions of Wipeout, then revive and music in the best traditions of the first Wipeout. Remember what electronic sounds had Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Leftfield, FSOL, CoLD SToRAGE, Fluke. And now the music in the game Formula Fusion - primitive, tasteless, low-brow, it is a disgrace to the brilliant Wipeout series of games. Please consult a competent electronic musicians, that they wrote quality electronic music tracks to the game.

it's only an Alpha, I'm, sure there will be better music in the final release. And besides, you will probably be able to play your own music playlists just like in WO HD. I have all the original WO soundtracks and used to play them in WO HD for that pure nostalgic awesomeness!

Plus you can always turn the music volume down in game and just pay your own with VLC or WMP .

I feel the same, although I think the song with the rapping has been re-worked now.. Seems like it sounds better now

I may be wrong but the only reason I don't bought this game yet (my first full price buy for a early access barely without any content) was because I got disgusted by the trailer. Still trying to give a chance I watched the gameplay and got more disgusted :(

A option for custom soundtrack is great but I still believe it sucks that the original soundtrack well...sucks! I never had problems with any Wipeout games soundtrack! HELL I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL cause I always thought it as a perfect series!

I will wait and see if they at least fix that :( I know it's only the beginning but they could at least tell us something cause no one from the team talked about this subject.

Can't find any videos of the new update, but after giving the old builds version of the song a listen I'm not acctually sure now

Tbh I'm probably wrong and it's the same, most likley wishful thinking but the chorus sounded different to me, it sounded to me like they had more beats playing over the vocals but I could be wrong

The song is not for me. Like others said you have the option to mute the ingame music and play your own and with any luck you might be able to import your music folder into the game. I wouldn't let this aspect affect your enjoyment of the game too much.

Yeah maybe it's not a big deal and I'm wrong to complain sooo much but I'm shocked that they choose this kind of music.

I don't even like that music in the opening for Pulse but at least it was instrumental without any bros singing :(

I'd like for Noisia to return for Formula Fusion, absolutely love them.

All WipEout games had amazing soundtracks (HD and Fury remain my favorites in that department though), and hopefully FF ends up just as great music-wise.

I still really like the soundtrack as is. It works just fine for me. Though depending how big the end track list is I'd like a feature to stop certain songs being on rotation while I'm playing.
