You can experiment and select any upgrade that causes more damage, and you should be able to more easily get kills that way.
Try Cloak + Teather ...passive sure, but anything that overtakes becomes your own portable shield charger til you deplete them out of the game, which doesn't take much.
And the beauty of alternating to cloak is any player trailing you can't get a lock on ... basically no shields required if you keep cloak going.
TLTR; deplete over taking players while being salt mak'n slippery bastard.
