The wait is over! The Asterfel alpha playtest is live now!

Steam’s Medieval Fest kicks off April 20th, making it a great time to jump in and start exploring Asterfel.

This is a big milestone for us, and your feedback will help shape what comes next.
Whether you’re diving into combat, exploring the world, or taking on quests, we’d love to hear how it feels.
A special thanks to all 1600 of you who already pre-registered to the Playtest and just got access.

Join Us for Asterfel’s First Open Playtest from April 17th!

Hello everyone!

Big news: We are launching the first open playtest for Asterfel on April 17th!

With Steam’s Medieval Fest beginning on April 20th, this is the perfect time to jump in early—the playtest will already be live ahead of the event and will continue throughout the festival.

We’re so excited for you all to see first-hand what Asterfel has to offer, and of course, gather your crucial feedback to create the best experience possible. Even though the playtest doesn’t launch until the 17th, you can opt in right now so you’ll be notified when it goes live!

Key Dates:

- April 9th – Start date to opt into playtest

- April 17th – Playtest begins

- April 20th-27th – Steam Medieval Fest

Asterfel Announcement, upcomming Playtest and 15k Wishlists!

Hello everyone!

This August we announced our medieval fantasy RPG: Asterfel.

We’re very happy with how the game reveal was received.
Thanks to you all, we managed to collect over 15k Wishlists on Steam.
And even IGN and Gamestar[www.gamestar.de] wrote about the announcement!

At the same time, we’ve taken your feedback to heart and disabled the damage numbers & quest markers by default. We’ve made various improvements to the combat system and will continue to do so in the coming weeks.

And we already have some news to share: We plan to run an open Steam Playtest in Spring 2026! If you’d like to help us prepare the game for this, you can request a Steam Key for our Closed Steam Playtest by sending us an E-Mail to https://support@mysteriastudio.com .
