OXENFREE Patch Notes
The developers at Night School committed to supporting Oxenfree throughout its launch and beyond. This discussion will document any updates we release to address issues reported and/or feedback you've given us. We'll reply here when new patches are announced and/or released.

Patch Notes for v1.2.1
This patch primarily addresses frame rate and screen resolution issues:
  • Framerate capped at 60 FPS
  • Fixed not being able to click to commit resolution changes
  • Potential loading screen crash fixes

Patch Notes for v1.2.2
This patch primarily addresses the following issues:
  • Load crashes related to DirectX
  • Mac screen resolution no longer starts stretched
  • 4:3 resolution fixed in: Cave, Pier, CommTower
  • Main menu "Disable Effects" now functions properly
  • 32-bit (x86) version added

Patch Notes for v1.3.1
This patch primarily addresses the following issues:
  • Fixed 4:3 monitors in US Army RCS
  • Fixed some blocker bugs in Main Street at 2am
  • Fixed a potential DX crash
  • Fixed Steam user icon being backwards
  • Subtitles moved up to better fit some TVs
  • Arrow keys now move Alex

Patch Notes for v1.4.0
This patch primarily addresses the following issues:
  • Fix for crash occurring for during loading screens
  • Fixed an issue where players with 4:3 monitors could not exit the classroom in US Army RCS
  • Fixed an issue where a character would get stuck Main Street in certain places
  • Moved subtitles up to account for Display cropping

Patch Notes for v2.3
This patch primarily addresses the following issues:
  • Added subtitles to radio stations that have dialogue.
  • Corrected discrepancies and typos in the existing subtitles.
  • Stability fixes.
