Theory about “see a man about a dog”

I may have an idea...there are some facts;

- During the radiation, knot, memory game Alex said “What “is” it with you guys and all the – the “games”, you’re like “dogs” or “children”, just what is the point?”

- In the cave wall, we first saw “see a man about a dog” saying which is a lot like warning (red painting and all) and then on the area of the rift there was “saw a man but not the dog” saying which was written with yellowish colour more like statement.

- Jonas means a peaceful being and anagram of the name Jason. He also mentioned that he spend sometime in “jail”

- On the Anomaly 89.9 there is this conversation between a woman and man called jason (I get the impression that they were lovers ...or maybe fiancee someting)

Woman's voice: Something keeps touching my leg in the water and I don't know what it is. Can we just go in the cave now?
Jason: Uh, sure. Sure. I just want you to have a good time

Jason: I think there's something down there.
Woman's voice: Wait, Jason there's, don't trip, there's a- Jason?

- Jonas wears a ring on his neck all the time (which looks like engagement ring).

So here is my theory: Jonas (Jason) is one of them. He get stucked somehow and Alex wrote this messages to remind herself that Jonas is doing this (the man not the dog). Maybe in the first time she saw Jason as himself, talk with him about “ghosts” and made a deal? ( saw a man about a dog) I dont know maybe we should left him on the island to break the timeloops at the end?

I like the idea that it was Alex who wrote the messages, but Jonas being the reason of it all? Unlikely IMO.

The ring he's wearing around his neck might've probably belonged to his deceased mother.

I noticed in a group photo near the beginning Ren wasn't wearing earrings in both ears but in the final photo he is wearing them. Not sure what that means.

To see a man about a dog is to make an excuse to stop talking to someone basically. If going fr a drink after is customary then by all means. I'll take a Yuengling.

Also "See a man about a dog" has one capital while "SAW THE MAN BUT NOT THE DOG" is in all caps.

Ive read on the description of some of the inventory items that the static from an FM radio played down near teh beach can call a small dog if left on for more than 15 minutes. Chck you steam inventory.
