Let's figure this out!
I have been busting my nut for a few weeks now trying to determine if there is a proper ending to this game and now with the new content the ghosts seem to be antagonising me about it.

There seems to be a distinct lack of practical theories online so I wanted to throw up where I've got too in the hopes it sparks something from someone else.

1. The door at the top of Milner with the light over it that is never on.

In the call and response system to open the shelter you can see quite clearly in the slide show that catbird talks to the shelter and the shelter talks to the fort and the fort talks to catbird. It doesn't seem possible that we can get different characters to all three locations at the same time (what the ♥♥♥♥ are ren and Nona talking on when you get to catbird anyway?) and I have tried to visit Milner in the different stages after the call response with no success except for going straight to Milner through bridge stand immediately after activating it. I'm going to try this soon. You can see in the save game flags that there is something you can do in Milner early. My original thought was that we just need to create one big ♥♥♥♥ off triangle and just bring the entire sub back before it implodes. This kinda ties in to my next theory.

2. Opening the triangles with Ren, Jonas possession scenes and the new one at the pier.

How long do those triangles stay open after you leave the area? The position of those three events makes a big triangle over the island. You see with the final triangle in the cave that there is many parts to it (10 I believe from memory) so maybe we can make a big one out of those?

3. Time, time stamps and morse code.

I have found a few errors in the translations of morse code in the game that we all accepted as accurate to begin with. It seems some shorthand was confused and other stuff shoe horned in to make work. I'll post these later. One of the messages is to make sure we have the correct time. I have tried setting the system clock to the time stamps mentioned. Even setting 00:00 01/01/1900 for the BxKauTx one with little success. I have not tried naturally playing through the night yet. Does anyone know if there is a date as well this event was meant to take place on?

Finally and what I think is the best evidence we are missing something is that in the files for the game there is a bunch of time stamps that I have never seen. Check out this reddit page with the file included.

The 1957 and 4am October 25th 1943 mean there is something IN GAME you can see or interact with that is most likely Maggie and Anna's first and last attempt to rescue the crew and maybe Maggie in the control room sending the search and destroy order.

Please help me smart people!!!

Actually one more thing. Where is Nona after the beach? I want o find her first. Oh oh oh I also want Jonas and Clarissa to hook up because he thinks about her a lot!

Oh and there has to be a hidden message in the Adler letters. The lady was a code maker! There is soo many ... and needless -'s in them it makes me think it's morse. There is also an unusual amount of stupid spelling errors (subarine). Why do all but the first have a pic?

When you opt to find Clarissa first, use the radio on the tower in fort Milner to start the rain and open the door. If you cut through bridge stand, campgrounds, woods backwards to normal you come across Ren sitting down outside the door of harden tower. I can't seem to interact or say hello. Has anyone come across this and been able to do anything? Have I just broken the game?

Actually I reset the game and now ren speaks when you walk past him. The game thinks I've already rescued him??!? He has been trying the radio but stopped when he burned his hand...

As for that, my guess is that it is a reference to the times you saw Ren or Nona fall off the bridge to their death in one of the areas when the Sunken are messing with you. My interpretation is that them falling are like different possible worlds, and when you hear them talking about it, it's like you hear it almost happening to Nona from their perspective. "It was phychotic to watch!"

Also, I think you would find this reddit post really interesting. It seems that some mysterious things in the game were more for thematic effect rather than being some kind of hidden code, such as BxKauTx, and the bunch of triangles on the last gateway you open.

Yeh read that AMA a few times and seen all their other media. Does anyone know if the 8A8D dead (battery) thing in the beacon beach soundtrack song was part of the ARG somewhere?

We are watching an old TV and VCR recording!!!

The numbers we see in the glitch pics (https://m.imgur.com/a/m8yxf) look like the station numbers on an old school TV! I even saw one in game somewhere that isn't in those pics that looks like an astrological chart with like a volume osd as well. The moments when the characters 'loop' and the glitch pics themselves is like the signal shifting to a slightly diff station or someone even changing the channel! You even get the old school VCR interference during them. The magnetophones tune the TV back to the correct source!!!!

About the triangle that might stretch across the whole map.

One is Ren. (relay point)
One is the near the blinking car. (main street)
Last one should be in FortMilner

The thing is it might not be directly the Jonas triangle. I found out that the radio goes red at the topmost right corner of Fort Milner. It is the corridor that leads to room where Clarissa jumps down. At that point of the game you only have a regular radio, and nothing happened. I tought I need the WAL radio, but when I got back with it, the radio did not get red again.

Just a sidenote: I went for Clarissa first and then for Ren, maybe the portals remain open just for a certain time period, and I have yet to try different order.

The right top Fort Milner corner during the Clarissa rescue is very peculiar and I really want to find out more about it. It is the only place where the radio goes red without any yet known reason... as far as I know.

If someone has any Info please respond.

I'm trying to solve this and maybe wasting my time too.
But from what I gathered:
1. on reddit AMA, there was a question "is leave possible?" and Devs answered "Leave is possbile". But that does not mean much, they may refer to basic ending where you just leave at the end, or it might be about breaking the loop(which does not break it, just not start it), or least possible, they actually meant that there is a way where you don't get another timeline and maybe have to start over the game.
2.There should be something with that third triangle, why else would it be there.

Also, I noticed 3 strange things.
1, when checking slides, you time jump to last slide,like other don't matter anymore, and it shows singnal bouncing, which looks suspicions like those triangles. Unfortuntely, I went with that order(Clarissa, Ren, Main street) and did not found anything new.
2. When I went to get Ren first and sent him later to Radio tower, I could interact with the gate there, saying something like"These gates seems dead after all this". Not sure exact words.
3. If you tell Nona about clarissa in fort, she seems to go there, cause she leaves a message on a wall, but you cannot interact with it, and message says that Nona is waiting at the beach, but when you get to Fields, she is talking on the radio. Looks to be something omitted by devs.

I'll try to rescure Clarissa or Ren now, and after leaving map I'll go back and see if gate is still opened. In theory, it should be opened in one of the scenarios.
