HOTFIX Beta November 8th 2015 (Anti Aliasing fixed)
Horsemen!

Also over the course of the weekend we wanted to provide updates for Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition and so we decided to create a public beta branch for an update that fixes some important things.

Here is a guide on how to access it:

Under Step 1 select "Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition"
You dont need a password for Step 4
The branch for Step 6 is named publicbeta

Changelog
8th November 2015
- Anti Aliasing fixed
- Forces the game to start in Fullscreen per default
- Better detection of supported resolution options on given hardware
- Better shadow map resolution handling on graphic cards below 2 GB of memory

Please give us your feedback especially if there are some new problems with this version. In the next days we will provide more updates.

Thanks for the fix, btw do you happen to know why it is not working with Steam Controller anymore?
If you select the Recomended profile its all empty.
Controller does not work with any other profiles either.

Was that just with that patch or even before?
Generally the SteamController support is still WIP and we expect to complete it next week.

You need to own the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition.

Regarding the Steam Controller it seems that I have to remove the Xbox One wireless adapter to get it to work, this was not the case before the first patch. Also pretty nice that you emulate rumble with the haptics :D.

Im still getting the critical error 'Could not initialize the Graphics subsystem.Probably because the resolution 1280x720 is not supported for fullscreen support'.Unless this hotfix is somehow unrelated.

180x720 should wo for fullscreen. Can you please let me know if you had Darksiders II installed previously?

Sure.I DID have Darksiders II installed previously.Removed it while DE was downloading.
As for my system specs:
GTX 860m 4GB Maxwell GPU
i7 4710 HQ @ 2.50 GHz
Maximum Resolution:3840x2160
16 GB GDDR5 RAM

Did you disable Steam cloud?
Did you chose the reset launch option?

Yes to both.I've already tried those workarounds and fixes.It worked once some hrs ago but now the same problem occurs and the workarounds don't work anymore for me.
