Game Crashes after talking to Archon

as the title says: my game crashes immediately after the cutscene where I talk to the Archon in Lostlight (first going up the tower). Is anyone having similar issues, or know a way to fix this?

I am having the same problem! What is going on? Game has been smooth up until this point.

Did you try windowed mode?

same problem - with reseted options, w\o v-sync, windowed mode..

Update for me, i run the game in 640x900 (lolol) and i walked with Death for don t go to fast ( lol again, i think it's useless but..) and finally i can skip the cutscene.

Same here, crash at the end of the cinematic or when i try to skip it. Tried in 640x480/windowed/vsyncon/off...etc

Crashes for me here to. Tried all the above. Always something.
First the crash affecting everybody due to shadows. Thankfully resolved.
Then the stutterfest in caverns. Resolved by adding the skyrim fix.
Afterwards, played smoothly without a single crash for many great hours....then this happens.

I've found a fix: Just do Nathaniel's side quest: "The Lost Soul" and then the game won't crash anymore when talking to Archon

That has to be the weirdest fix to a game bug i've ever encountered, but it worked! I did the quest, and my game no longer crashes upon talking to the archon. Thanks!
