Is the original Darksiders 2 not available anymore?

I can't find it on Steam. My pc is slower than my microwave, so I would rather get the old version.

The old version has been removed. And the uppdate isn't so supstancial that you need the old version to run it on a microwave. Just play on low in that case.

The original version is not available to buy anymore, but you can still play the original version if you happen to own it. Much like what happened with Deus Ex Human Revolution's Director's Cut. Game still exists if you own the original copy, just not to buy.

If you've bought the original game previously, it should still be available at your library list.

Since, you've mentioned it, I had to double check the store page for the game and it isn't available anymore. So, I suppose is that you'll need to purchase the Difinitive Edition.

A scam, maybe (but if you want to see a future new, Darksiders and support the devs to make a new one, you'd best buy it. Though, that choice is completely up to you.) But to say that there's "no updates for the old one" is just absurd. This IS an update of the older version.

i buy the original game and all the dlc and keep it in my inventory to offer it to a friend. But i don't have offer it yet. So what will happen if i send it today? did he get the deathinitive edition?

This is a new practise. Darksiders is by far not the worst criminal in this regard. Check out planetary annihilation for the people that abused this system.

This is most likely an attempt to gauge public interest in the franchise. If this sells well, they'll make a third. So, seriously, consider buying it. The more people that do, the higher the likelihood of getting a Darksiders III.

If you have the standard Darksiders 2 added to your library , you can't send it to anyone, it's bound to your account

If I bought a DVD-ROM or Steam Key of the original version, do you think it would allow me to download the game through Steam? Or would that be a bridge too far?
