Still have to buy seperate DLC for this.... eventhough you already bought the Soundtrack DLC for the old game anyway........... :rfacepalm:

*ps: can't even check the store page/dlc page for the older DSII anymore.... to even compare if there's even any 'new' songs or something. (other than reinstalled the game/manual check) :eh:

Why would you pay for it again if you already have a copy of the soundtrack from the older game?

I do think it's a pain that I can't download a soundtrack without downloading the entire game... Have to copy the songs from my Darksiders 2 steam folder to some other folder before uninstalling DS2 (and install DS2 DE).

This is so stupid, if we own the soundtrack from DS2 which is the same as this soundtrack it should flat out be free.

If it's the same exact soundtrack, you can just copy/paste the original in to a new folder named Deathinitive OST. There you go. You now have two copies! Didn't even have to pay for the second one!

I BOUGHT the Franchise pack in 2012, and they added the soundtrack two years later in 2014. Because of this they didn't give me the free upgrade (heck, I don't even have the 80% discount either), AND THEY SELL THE SOUNDTRACK SEPARATELY ANYWAY?! This is the most insulting scam nonsense I've ever seen any publisher pull. If they don't fix this, I'll never buy a game from them as long as I live, it's that unfair. :angry_creep:

it's bad enough you have to pay for what essentially a 'patch'.... Now they even go futher by making you pay for the SAME soundtrack you owned from older game....

Not even any changes or add on songs or anything.... :bbtraccoon:

damn..... the world we live in nowadays.... :steamfacepalm:

yea the devs could easily do that too... if it detects the person owns the soundtrack its free. done, simple...

You know who else could easily make duplicates on your machine that take up extra space for no reason? You.

I even wrote a ticket to Steam about it. Lol. I hate having incomplete game - I mean without all DLCs. (Yes - laugh about it)

Yeah, but it's a pain to have to install a 8gb game for a soundtrack if a person uninstalled DS2 to install DS2 DE
.
More of a compaint with how Steam deals with soundtrack "dlcs", I guess.

BTW - u don't have to install whole game just to get soundtrack. Lol.

Yes, I bought 'franchise pack' for a reason.... to have...you know ALL things that included in the franchise.... it's basically a collection.... it's nice to see everything 'ticked' in dlc list when you view the game page store...

a definitive edition or what ever you want to call it,a repackaged of old game should then includes all items...especially it's the same item you already had before...it's no brainer.... this is just another cash grabs method.... pfft...
