Unable to finish GnoMAD quest

I collected all of the gnomes and my quest log says I have to get my reward from the serpent tome. only there's nothing in the serpent tome. and the achievement doesn't come until you finish the quest and getting the reward from the serpent tome counts as part of the quest. huh?

The serpent tone was essentially disabled as it was an online mailbox before THQ died.
Definitely a bug nordic needs to know of

The serpent stone can get items, you just can't trade with other players. meaning game-related items (such as crucible cards, gnomad scythes, the Corruption Hammer from Vulgrim at the start of NG+) all work.
Are you sure you got all the gnomes and there wasn't one that counted for two instead?

yep. i even was missing one and used a walkthrough to go back and find that missing one and i checked all four locations. will try again though...

Im having the same problem with this GnoMAD. Any1 got a solution to fix it? Restarting the game doesn't fix the bug.....

Sadly it is still bugged, no idea how to get around it...disappointing really.
