The Level Design in this game is TERRIBLE

normally in a good game the world and all the stuff leads you in the direction to go. like half life/black mesa, u dont need a map or anything just everything in that game leads you in the right direction. DS2, for example The Foundry level. WTF is that?!?! You got this Raven thing that flys in circles over your head thats "Supposed" to lead you in the right direction...that doesnt happen. #2, when it does fly away it will goto areas you have already been in. Did they even test these levels with more than a handful of people? This entire Foundry section have had to use YouTube and watch a walkthrough the entire time. I have NEVER had to do that maybe for like an oldschool Doom game from 1996 or Hexen. Thats about it. The level design and puzzles absolutely ruined this game. I can see why it didnt get as much praise as the first one did. Not to mention you cant even cut bad guys in half anymore. The blood and gore has been drastically dialed back as well. The graphics look great and art style...what a shocker...seems like whenever a game is all about graphics everything else is trash. Which is a shame. Just like Airships Wayfinder, the graphics are wonderful but the gameplay is made for 6 y/o kinde gardeners. I guess thats what the "modern audience" is?

Dude, if getting lost in Foundry - don't play this game. Uninstall and never return, it would be better for you and everybody. Save your sanity and go play Candy Crash or something.

i did. ended up playing Dragon Age Origins instead
