Low FPS

GPU: Nvidia 940M 2 GB

Drive: Samsung 850 evo 480 GB
Windows 10 64bit up-to-date

@720p, lowest shadows, no AO, no AA, no V-sync I get 22-28 fps in the first town (I just arrived, I'm in the open area with the guy attacking wooden poles).

You could say "your PC sucks" but not really, I'm well above the recommended requirements. Also, with the Intel 520 I'm getting 6 fps less (around -20%), but usually I get HALF fps (and that is also what Futuremark and Userbenchmark say) so something is clearly not working with my 940M. My driver is the latest one.

I tried both with beta and normal game, no changes in performance.

Well, since you have a laptop, make sure that your PC is actually using the gpu instead of onboard graphics.

Your PC sucks, yes it does.


The requirements are for the original version of darksiders 2, not the remaster edition.
This version requires a lot more horsepower because of bad optimization.

Deal with it.

the 940m is not a gaming card, that´s your problem. it´s a low end/office-card, so there´s not much you can do against that, sorry.

I recommend that you play the original darksiders 2 it is far less demanding and look practically the same.

Shadows in this game really kill the FPS. My FPS tanks in the first world when outdoors, but when i go into dungeons it shoots way back up. Some of the worlds that aren't quite so bright and sunny run better
