questions about the crucible

I've just started NG+ and need the crucible achievements to finish up 100% achievements.

Do I have to beat the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game again to do the crucible and Wicked K, or can I just tp right in and go to town?

Also, if I'm set on easy difficulty, what's the recommended level for going all the way?

All you need to access the Crucible are the tarot cards you received via the serpent mailbox; as you keep those in NG+, you should be alright. To access the last 25 waves though, you'll need the Devil card, obtained after reaching level 25, which can only be done in NG+ in the first place. You 'll also need to get the Deathgrip back before you can reach Wicked-K.

As far as I remember, difficulty setting deosn't affect the Crucible. You really should try to reach max level first and get an OP possessed weapon though, the last waves are pretty unforgiving.
