Come back later when you're stronger... it'll be easy.
If I remember correcty, it's better if you use a weapon with fire... and sometimes you have to dodge "towards" him.
When you first arrive at the area, that boss can already be fought, but from what I gather it was clearly designed to be challenged by endgame players. If the main attack hits you once, you will get DoT (damage over time) that you cannot outheal even with a life potion, it will kill you. And the damage I'm doing to the boss at my level, is minimal, even in Reaper form. That's because it's HP is too high and the damage I'm doing to it currently, is too small.
The boss has an annoying pattern, making it hard to consistently avoid its third strike. It's hard to fight it without getting hit, because you can't consistently dodge out of its attack range after you approached it to hit it (you can dodge, but sometimes, you'll be badly positioned and you will be out of stamina to make a third dodge).
You shouldn't be able to fight a boss you're not supposed to kill at that point. I could attempt killing it, but I'm not a masochist - it'd also be a waste of time. I came here just to confirm my suspicion.
Hope this will help future players!
