Cant even move when on the vine walls

I have to tap the down key just to move an inch

Edit: Game is actually unplayable, cant even go into the menu without it crashing

To move on the vine walls, try enabling V-Sync.
If it doesn't work, try pressing Caps Lock (probably you'll have to activate Caps Lock before you start the game).

If you playing with an Xbox controller, press LB when moving.
