Deathinitive difficulty worth it in the long run?
Hey guys

I just started playing the game and put it on the highest difficulty, which seems to be Deathinitive. I'm liking the challenge but stuff like running into a lvl 5 Stalker at level 2 or 3 grates me a bit because it leads to oneshots. Just wondering if this becomes less of an issue later on when you get better gear or if I should get used to the kind of difficulty where 2-3 hits can kill you.

Also, I've read a bunch of posts where people complain about crashes and some suspect it's tied to the difficulty - anyone got more info on this?

Thanks in advance for answers.

As a n00b to Darksiders 2 I can't answer much but have read a few places that say to go with normal or hard for the first playthrough, and then choose Deathinitive for the New Game + ... cause you will have skills, etc already unlocked.

I really enjoyed Darksiders Warmastered Edition, I had no issues with it ... but after 2 hours of this game I have already had the "keyboard not responding" issue twice ... stupidly I didn't save so just loaded the last save only to see how far back I had gone ... which included a rare item from a chest that went bbye bye :(

I did the exact same thing, the difficulty didn't bother me too much, there were one really hard place, and now I'm completely stuck in THE BIGGEST B-LLSH-T BATTLE IN THE GAME and with me being at my best at trying to play in perfection there is no way I can beat him now so I guess I'm looking forward to figuring out what in the actually f*** I'm suppose to do now..

But other than that, yeah it's totally worth it, I didn't find it that hard especially once you're really good in dodging and simply attacking timedly.. but it is a big grind so I would say, if you'd a person that rages quits a lot, you shouldn't take it because you're gonna be going at a battle for at least 50 times before getting forward in some places.. if not, then go ahead and enjoy the many rage quits that are to come ^^ But for now with my mood that I'm having F**k this game !

Oh and I didn't really have any bugs except for one that isn't related to difficulty, it's the one where you can't climb vines properly but doesn't bother me since you can sort of dash through vines either way so.. (and sure minor mini bugs here and there but nothing to disturb my gameplay)

Edit: After literally 2 days of trying mentally and putting literally my best effort into this game, i finally beat the boss after around 80 tries, I'm sh**ting my mind out right now.. So if ya want just like what I'm feeling and dealing with right now then have fun ^^
