Help for possessed weapons
Hi,

I'm lvl 19 on my first playthrough, and I begin to think of creating my possessed weapons.
I'm a complete nooby for that.

1) From what I understand, I can start lvl up my weapons now, and they will be they best till the end, even in NG+, as long as I keep lvl them up ?

2) But what stats would you recommand me ?
I don't want to fail everything.

I red Health and wrath steal were killers, so I guess I'll pick that.
It leaves me two choice.
I WANT EXECUTION CHANCES.
I know many people would not pick that, but it makes combat much more fun to me.
What should I pick on my last slot ?
Crit chances or Crit damage ?
Strengh ?

I guess I'll have to boost the remaining stats on my armors then.
I red crit chances is much easier to get on armor, I also need defense, I don't know how much strengh I need....

Thx for help

You have the opportunity to try many possessed weapons, many combinations. You can farm or buy them.

When you find the Black Demise Scythe, keep it. It steals the enemy's health.
When you beat a certain boss in one of the DLCs, you'll get another powerful weapon (a trident) that also steals something from the enemy and transfers to you.

I played the 1st and 2nd playthroughs with the Black Demise scythe most of the time and a possessed weapon that had a lot of thorn, critical damage, strengh and critical chance. That's the better combination that kept me alive in the Crucible.

ok thx.

I just discovered you can only lvl up a weapon 5 times.
I thought I could get my lvl 5 possessed scythe to lvl 22 lol.
I'm lvl 21, so I'll to be lvl 22 to farm possessed weapons.

I'll try farming those weap on the ramining chests and racks I have left.
I guess I won't touch any chest in NG+ before reaching lvl 30.

It's true that you can level up 5 times
But the thing is, once you drop it and pick it up, it still maintain the last stats that the weapon have but the level bar become empty again.
So basically, you can keep increasing the stats that you already possessed even further if you want to.

That's a bug (one of the few that's actually exclusive to the Deathinitive Edition).

You can exploit it if you choose, but the item will start to wonk out after a while.
