Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition

Death's height *Spoiler alert*
I played Darksiders and at the very beginning, I noticed that War's body is so big compared with those running humans. But in the Darksiders II however, I found out that Death's body is not really big. It's also noticeable when Death encounter the last human survivor.

Does anybody knows what happened?

So he's a bit short because of the fractured amulet in his chest?

Well not that I have experience with the consumption of souls but I would think they need to feed to.I was joking though , I don't know why he is so short compared to his brother.I have not thought about it to much.I'm thinking Death is skinnier in comparison to his brothers because he represents death .Decay , wasting away , etc..

They're of comparable size (you can compare them directly in the intro sequence).

Their size relative to other characters is just art direction. For whatever reason, the sequel has a longer camera and more normal human proportions.

War is the Large, brute- War has been described as the most honorable of the Four Horseman. He has demonstrated an unwillingness to kill foes who are not a threat to him, and has been shown to be disgusted by the very idea of killing an opponent when they are not at full strength. War is normally characterized by a very serious attitude. Beneath his stoic exterior, War is quick to anger and can be quite fearsome when provoked. Despite being quick to anger however, he has demonstrated a great deal of control over his temper, and is only rarely enraged to the point of actually losing control. He is also known to despise using stealthy means to achieve his ends, preferring open conflict to deception or subtlety and especially hating the idea of assassinating a foe. However, this straightforwardness should not be mistaken for a lack of intelligence, as Death himself has openly acknowledged that War's tactical acumen is even greater than his own. However, War can also be somewhat belligerent, and is known to sometimes lose himself to the thrill of battle. Perhaps the greatest example of this was the incident that cost him his natural left arm. Swept up in the heat of combat, he refused an order from Death to stand down during a battle with an unidentified group of opponents. He then engaged his fellow Horsemen and attempted to kill Fury in his rage. The blow was intercepted by Death, who admonished War and sliced his arm off as a lesson. Despite his loyalty, even the Council is said to have difficulty reigning in his lust for battle on occasion. Despite his honorable tendencies, he is phenomenally brutal in combat, and can be quite vindictive if he has been wronged by an opponent. For instance, before executing Abaddon, War took advantage of a critical injury he had dealt to his foe to tear Abaddon's wings off of his back, for no other reason than to spite him for all the trouble he had caused War. He also seems to share a close bond with Death, and has been shown to trust his elder brother almost implicitly despite their extremely differing personalities.

As a Nephilim and a Horseman, War is an immensely powerful warrior. He prefers to use his incredible physical strength to best his opponents with sheer raw power. War is also very intelligent, solving many puzzles on his way to redeem himself and is a great tactician in battle.

Death, is agile, quick, like an assassin- He is the leader and most powerful of the Four Horsemen. He is the eldest of the surviving Nephilim ever since he and the other Horsemen carried out the extermination of the rest of their kind on the orders of the Charred Council. He is feared throughout the Darksiders universe, more so than any of the other Horsemen.

Strife the gunslinger- Strife is a Nephilim and one of The Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He is the rider of the White Horse, whose name remains unknown. He wields two large handguns as his weapon of choice, but may also wield another unknown weapon that could be used for close combat.

Fury the only female- Fury is one of the last of the Nephilim and a Horseman of The Apocalypse. She is the rider of The Black Horse whose name is currently unknown. Fury wields a fiery whip as her weapon, and can also use her claws to tear at her enemies. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Ive played both twice, and never noticed any size difference, other than physical mass.. Death is also somewhat hunched, and tends to stand at the ready, where war stands tall, and rigid..

After I rewatched the Darksiders 1 early game and Darksiders 2 Death vs War it turns out that their body are just same. Or is it just me?
