Maniac Mansion
I heard they were going to release it along side this so we can play that before the sequel. I don't see it anywhere on the store. Any news?

Modern pc games really don't like executable inside executable especially if they also wanna use it on console.
they could add an option to steam to execute MM only... :miniglottis:

Just make a save in Ed's room? The game seems bundled in DOTT so not sure it would have been possible. If you noticed it, it only use one save for example, contrary to the original game.

Is there a way to save your game in MM here? F5 does nothing...

I think it save automatically in your DOTT save, but it's mean there's only one slot (and for a game like MM where you can be stuck or killed, it's not the best).
Anyone know if there is a Maniac Mansion related achievement? If not I'll just play it on ScummVM.

There are two. First one is just to play it (so pretty easy/quick to get it) and the second one is to fry Ed's Hamster in the microwave, which is also not that long to get (should take a few minutes if you already know the game).

Yes, it pretty much auto-saves whenever one of your chars gets stuck into the dungeon... Also, is there a way to load from within the game?

Well there is the loose brick but I couldn't find where it was and gave up.

Yeah, that sucks, especially if you can die or stuck in this game.

Just below the left window. You need to use the "What is is" verb to find it if I remember right.

It awesome they kept this. But the music was so much better on the NES. Someone needs to mod this and replace the PC Speaker music with the NES music.

You can save separate levels of MM, if you leave it and save DOTT in a separate slot.
Then you will see many Ed's rooms and you have to notice the levels of MM inside the DOTTs saves (in Ed's Computer).
But be aware that you only have the autosave version. After restoring I was always back at the entrance of then room and all I had done inside the room was lost.
For that reason leave MM after you see the autosave icon, for example after entering a new room.
