People with a brain open Task Manager and check what program is running the add before reformating there pc. Just saying.
I feel the same way, I pay to NOT have ads, even if its from the same dev.. how do I get rid of this ad, do i need to roll back and stay at an old version (ive had to do this before many times, winamp, uTorrent and many other programs started this crap)
Also, i dont know how to dismiss it, i clicked it and it brings up a webpage (that i have scripts blocked on because of crap like this where an app can send you to a loaded webpage) So if clicking on it doesnt remove it, i cant find out how. My guess is you have a browser to app ad BS going on that it """removes itself""" if it sees you hit the website. but in reality its still in the program.
Ill actually take a half hour to find an older build and roll back than to have to force feed myself an ad just to continue.
Actually, am I a donator? coulda sworn i paid for it, the donation thing is 10$, maybe it was something else? if i didnt previously i guess retract what i said. Maybe its sharex im thinking about
reverse reverse that, apparently there is no free version on steam, its 4$, and THEN there is also a 10$ donation, so yeah i DID pay for it i guess... so confusing. If everyone on steam is paying for it, then thats doubly crappy to have ads.
