What is a EULA? And if you can't see it then it is probably a bug or something did happen but you didn't notice. Although I have never had a game make me agree to something after hours of playing.

EULA is an end-user licence agreement.

A lot of times publishers can create those license agreements only after the games have been around for a while, and you'll have to agree to them the next time you play, so that's normal. But if there was an error displaying it, that's a bug you have to fix.

Haven't played Ori DE for months and booted it up again to go for an achievement. It also appeared for me too, and I already had the game installed

good for you thanks for sharing have a nice day.

yes, that is normal for now due to the server overloads. That EULA is an online feature (ie you have to connect to steam servers to agree to it) unfortunately, for many of us , we cannot remain connected to steams over loaded servers for more than 5 seconds.

You don't have to believe me if you don't want to. Go spend $1000s on an SSD/new computer.. Won't fix the problem.

Thanks so much everyone - very helpful. I'll just have to keep trying for a quiet time on Steam to play Ori then. Like that's ever going to happen while we're all spending more time at home.

Same problem here. How am I supposed to agree to something I cannot even read?

yep me too. Haven't play for a couple of weeks and now an eula you can't even read. Total bs.

I wonder if there's any connection between that glitchy EULA and our Original soundtrack disappearing? I clicked on it thinking it couldn't be too different than previous EULAs. It was a few days after that I noticed my soundtrack was missing.

If you look here[steamdb.info], you'll find an entry "Added eulas" - and this is the same change set that (presumably) nuked the original soundtrack.
So there probably is a connection...

I've been asked to agree to EULA's for all my games this morning. Steam Spring Cleaning event got me installing all sort of new titles, which I expected to see the EULA box but I've also got the EULA box on titles I have 50+ hours on and completed.

Lmao what are you afraid of agreeing to? It's not going to end like the South Park episode. Just accept the EULA and play the game.

Update: I emailed feedback@moongamestudios.com and asked them to fix this and the faulty EULA has disappeared. Thank you moon game studios !:steamhappy:
