If you're a keyboard user, try reaching over for the mouse during a bash. You can aim the bash with the mouse cursor.
- Corrected right stick to left stick.
Using a separate USB mouse presents its own share of problems too. I've been used to arrows rather than WASD input, so it feels slow when I try to change from a Bash to a jump.
And my computer can't read an Xbox 360 USB input...
I don't have a controller and I personally found keyboard + mouse to be kinda awkward to use so I switched to keyboard only and I'm doing just fine.
I tried your method.
The keyboard does help solving the problem since I can do the arrow controls, jump and bash.
It's not perfect, but it helps.
