I turn on the robot and start trying to pick things up but nothing turns yellow to pick up. Shotgun lots of enemies but eventually get overwhelmed and killed. Then I have to start all over. Done it twice now and can't proceed. What's the secret?

Not my cup of tea. I like puzzles, processes, and out of the box thinking, but I have the short-term memory of a gold fish. So throwing a huge info dump at me on the data tape and expecting me to remember everything, is asking way too much of my brain. I can see potential in the idea, but this feels like a vertical slice that doesn't show enough gameplay. A couple things I would like to point out are: • Screens on machines become pixelated even if a meter away; you literally have to be right in front of it to see text and small icons representing other components. • If the underground is going to have the same: exponential enemy spawn rate, an ambiguous amount of shots in your gun with no way to reload, the slow walk and run speeds, and rare spawn ra...

I'm a big fan of delivering the information the player needs through the environment itself, it's a great and immersive way to give the player information. I think the tutorial "tapes" could either be shorter or display subtitles on your screen that way you can walk around and actually do the things they're telling you to, as some of them are a bit information-dense and it would be nice to follow along instead of watching to the part you need to be, then doing it and having to re-watch the tape if you miss...
