Novus Inceptio
This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important
Enable SLI on Windows 7 (possibly other versions).
Ok, my rig is a bit old: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4160835
NOTE: I normally run the CPU at 23 * 166 = 3818 MHz (the benchmark was at 23 * 177 = 4071)

Current NVIDIA Driver version: 359 WHQL

As such since it will be about another year before I can build a new one I try to get all the performance I can.
Seeing that this game runs on one of the newer 5.3.x builds of Unity I decided to try some of the new command line options to see if I could enable SLI.

I was able to nearly double performance by enabling SLI.

Steps:
  1. Steam Client > Game Library > Novus Inceptio > Right-Click > Properties > Set Launch Options
  2. Type the following in the box without quotes:
    "-window-mode exclusive -screen-fullscreen 1"
  3. Hit OK
  4. Show your Desktop
  5. Right-Click your desktop
  6. Click 'NVIDIA Control Panel'
  7. Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings Tab
  8. Click Add
  9. Select NovusInceptio.exe
  10. Scroll down to 'SLI Rendering Mode'
  11. Select 'Alternate Frame Rendering 2'
  12. Apply
  13. Start game and enjoy increased performance.

Settings (not yet tuned for my system):

Before SLI (22 FPS~):
