Another demo update should be playable!

This update is a major step in the right direction, many issues and shortcomings have been addressed.

Visual Changes

Fog has been adjusted in all levels.
Changes in saturation and color gradients to most materials.
Objects farther from the camera are now desaturated (except human currently).
Slight Camera FOV changes.
Grass now sways in the wind.
When units are shot, the blood decal will grow over time. There is also a blood spurt effect (purely visual).
Selected units will now show their movement path.
New settings UI.
The Main Menu and Conquest modes backgrounds are much brighter.
The Main Menu now has neat effects and filters.

General fixes and changes

Changed how accuracy works, units can now shoot next to themselves without missing.
When playing as a unit, the aiming reticle will change colors depending if you are aiming at a friend or foe.
Units should be much more optimized, using less computing power just to exist.
Units now rotate their bodies based on movement direction.
New settings option: CelShade. Turning it off makes lighting more realistic. (I recommend turning CelShade on for now).
Slight ragdoll changes.
Unit navigation should be less flawed now, units shouldn't get stuck on each other as much now.
Conquest mode in general should be more stable.

Slow Motion

When pressing L-Alt when playing as a commander or unit, slow motion will be enabled.
Slow motion currently has no limit.
Slow motion when playing as a unit will cause the unit to have less bullet deviation.

Conquest Market/shop

Production has been removed from the game (likely to return in the future). Items that had to be produced such as accessories and improvised guns can now just be bought.
Buying and selling equipment is now in the same menu.
Reworked market UI.

Conquest Mobilization changes

The construction and mobilization of your army is now much more flexible, the old system forced units to have a specific weapon or accessory depending on the template save, this is no longer the case.
Conquest mode soldier templates are now cosmetic only.
To create a Mobilized Squad (your fighting force), you go into the Armory's Templates section, there, you select a squad template and fill it with your population.
To manage a Mobilized Squad, you go into the Armory's Mobilized section, there you select a squad that you have mobilized, You must assign each soldier a weapon before deploying them to the battlefield.
You can swap out a mobilized soldier's weapon and accessory for any replacement you may have.
You are now able to rename each soldier by clicking the soldiers name in the Armory's Mobilized section.
You are also able to rename each squad in your army by clicking the purple @ in the Armory's Mobilized section.

Improvised Tactics is really starting to take shape, not all changes have been noted but these were the most notable.

Your save data may become corrupted so I recommend starting a new conquest game and deleting your sandbox unit saves.

A new update for Improvised Tactics should be playable now!

Unit Customization

Unit Customization changes:

The new customization system is more flexible and scalable ːsteamhappyː

Instead of cycling through customization options, a new menu will appear, the menu will show all available options with the objects name and image

You can now color all clothing items to any color you would like using the color wheel

You are now able to delete soldier saves or squad saves in both the soldier creator menu and squad creator menu, the squad manager menu has been removed due to redundancy

Unit save slot changes:

The left side of unit customization UI is where you can manage save slots, there are two tabs, the soldier tab and the squads tab, the tabs will show your soldier and squad saves respectively
The + button will add the soldier save to the squad creator
The i button will show the squad save in the squad creator (any changes will not effect the original squad save)
The / button will delete the save

Conquest settings

When creating a new conquest game, you are able to tweak modifiers to enhance your experience

Gun Prices - How much weapons cost
Building Space - How many slots territories have that you can build in
Low Resource Grace - The impact towards your societal collapse meter when low on resources
Resource Demand - How much resources your greedy population wants
World size - How large the world map is (this does not effect the map size of battles)

Animation Tweaks:

Units that are under player control in third person mode should have different movement animations, the new animation should make running and gunning easier
Units that are under player control in first person mode will no longer play movement animations, this makes idle shooting and shooting while moving identical

General changes and fixes:

Removed the ugly blue tint from the game

Sensitivity should feel more balanced when possessing a unit

All weapons in the game have had their stats tweaked, all guns do a little less damage now. Expect more small weapon tweaks in future updates

Units can no longer damage themselves, explosive damage and friendly fire are unchanged

Removed the outdoors background in sandbox mode unit customization

Conquest changes and fixes:

Conquest mode should be more stable, although there is still minor errors from saving and loading games.
Conquest battles will now feature 3 capture points, the winner is no longer dependent on who reaches a capture point first
Fixed the weird lighting in the world map view
Enemy ai should stop invading territory when the ai's nation is defeated
Injured squads should be saved now
Fixed the error blocking the player from invading when loading into the game
Added invisible walls to the bridges in conquest matches

short term goals:

Rework conquest UI to be more scalable
Make combat less horrible
Fix the various bugs still present
Add more sandbox features

Not every single change is mention

This update will ruin any unit and conquest save you have
