does anyone know if between when you got notified how many legacy gems you were getting in Smite 2 and now, if you go to purchase more gems, will you get more legacy gems or no? Feels weird to do a sale AFTER granting legacy gems

So they're releasing more cosmetics to Smite 1 when actively making Smite 2 to replace Smite 1 and to top it off, we all know if Smite 2 is successful, they'll shut down Smite 1. Keep the hard work.

Once you log back in you will be notified that more legacy gems have been added once making additional purchases.

Milk us even more! Don't be shy. These moves are not seen as an attack on the naivety of the players. Smite was a beautiful game (I have almost 5,000 hours in it), but virtually all of Hi-Rez's recent moves confirm my belief that Smite 2 is being made solely to milk even more players. Something like Overwatch 2.

They're skins. In no way are you forced to buy them. So don't. The difference between OW2 and SMITE 2 is OW2 ONLY added monetization while Smite 2 goes forward 2 generations in graphics and lays entirely new coding foundation for future improvements. In case you forgot, video games are in the business of making money. F2P games have to do it somehow. Just be glad skins dont cost $20+ per skin like in every other game.

love it when you feed a company money and they spit in your face and tell you to buy more stuff and your last purchase never happen i like to imagine that the ceo of high rez looks like jabba the hut lying in their chair eating slugs and laughing at the people they fool into buying more of their trash so they can remove their last stuff they spent their hard earn money on LOOKS LIKE YOU SPEND SOME MONEY ON OUR GAME GOOD GOOD AND WE ARE MAKING A SOME ADJUSTMENTS AND ADDING SOME NEW THINGS TO THE SHOP ANDDDD IT'S GONE.... it's all gone they money you spend on our last game all gone sir
