... Not sure where any of you are getting your use of the word "senpai". A senpai is your senior, and no it's not gendered. Are you a 10th grader in highschool? Juniors and Seniors are your senpais. Start a new job? Literally everyone who works there already is your senpai. JoeThePro is correct that it -was- used for males, though note that he said "originally used" and that it can now be used for males and females... Which is... correct?

If you are a junior in high school speaking to a senior in high school you would call them senpai, no matter their gender. If you start a job, anyone that has been working their longer than you would be your senpai, no matter their gender. Sounds like you got your education from memes.
