Ambiguous package name Error? I HAVE FOUND SOLUTION FOR ERROR
If you are on the Steam Version of Smite and have been having the following Issue since the latest patch: (See at bottom for how to solve the problem)

Ambiguous package name: Using 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\smite\BattleGame\Cook edPC\Environments\L
obby\Lobby_Pedestal_Beach.upk', not 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\smite\BattleGame\Cook edPC\Pedestals\Lobb
y_Pedestal_Beach.upk

and then shows this message:

Ambiguous package name: Using 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\smite\BattleGame\Cook edPC\Environments\L
obby\Lobby_Pedestal_SWC.upk', not 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\smite\BattleGame\Cook edPC\Pedestals\Lobb
y_Pedestal_SWC.upk'

Find Smite in your library
Right Click with your mouse and go to Properties
Select Local Files
Browse Local Files
Select Battlegame
Cooked PC
Environments
Select the Lobby file
Delete the following: Lobby_Pedestal_SWC.upk and Lobby_Pedestal_Beach.upk
This resolves the issue.

The only lobby files I have are
Lobby_Assets.Upk
Lobby_BG_Cards.Upk
Lobby_LandingPages.upk
Lobby_Olympus.upk
Lobby_pedestal.upk

So am I missing files that I should have? I tried uninstalling then reinstalling in an attempt to get those files or am I potentitally doing something wrong? I just want to play my Loki :(

Hi, I would guess the files should all be there however there have been patches since this issue occured so it is possible the files that were causing this issue got removed in a later patch update. I would contact Hi-Rez and see what they advise. sorry can't be of more help :(
i have the same problem only it says 'C:Program File
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\smite\BattleGame\CookedPC\PC\Shared\GFx\BundlelmageStack.upk', not '(everything thee same only instead of PC at says Shared)
Would you suggest i delete the BendleldmageStack.upk file.
(Also i'm a little afraid because i found the Pedestal Files ((in amongst two others)) and when deleted ((even the other two)) it didn't help... I'm hoping i didn't screw things up)

I've also noticed it comes up with "AccolodeStack.upk" sometimes instead.

Thank you. I had the same error for a different .upk file. Deleting that file from both of the folders did the trick!
