MSVCP140.dll Missing Potential Fix

If your game is failing to start and reports missing MSVCP140.dll, you likely need to install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015[www.microsoft.com]. You may want to install both the x86 and x64 versions for posterity.

I worked with a player in Discord having this issue. The redistributable installers were not in the BinariesRedist subdirectory in the game's install location. They likewise weren't installed with the recent game update.

If you're missing MSVCP110.dll, you need Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4[www.microsoft.com] instead.

Note:I only link to Microsoft download sources. Downloading DLL files from third party sources (i.e. anything other than a domain at or within microsoft dot com) to fix your games puts your computer at risk of executing malicious code. Can you share the text/screenshot of the error you're seeing? You might be missing a different runtime dependency.

Yep, that makes sense. You're missing *110.dll files, but the link in the original post in this discussion is for *140.dll, a later version of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. 140 corresponds to Visual Studio 2015. As you're missing 110, which corresponds to VS 2012[docs.microsoft.com], try this download link below instead (again, if just x86 or x64 install doesn't work, install the other such that both architectures are installed):
