Easyanticheat Error 10011 on launch Possible fix

So everything ran fine before the patch on the 19th-20th Dec, but afterward I was unable to run the game because everytime I tried to launch it I goit an easyanticheat errror 10011.

So I did all the things that were recomended and nothing worked. I found the next fix in a youtube vid:

goto your windows start menu and type cmd in the search box,
type sc delete easyanticheat,
restart the computer and run the game from steam
when the easyanticheat prompt comes up, choose to repair easyanticheat

It ffixed my problem, game now works again.

I typed "sc delete easyanticheat" but it said access denied. I'm sure there's another way to repair easyanticheat but I'm forgetting how.

You need to run the CMD shell in Admin mode to be able to do it probably.

Damn, 2-3 year old error fix still working, that game is just...
And yeah It worked for me too, but only one use so when I want to play the game I have to restart pc every time, is there any way not to?

Sadly these errors are uncommon enough that no fixes ever get made. All these anti-cheat programs cause issues at some point, and they don't stop the people who really want to cheat or use hacks/mods very well anyway.

I ended up building a new machine and have a lot fewer issues now, I know that doesn't help you, but if a reboot can get it to work then at least it's playable.

Yeah, the pc might be the problem, (6+ year old laptop whitch my dad used, and downloaded uverified free antiviruses, pirated games and movies).
Imma try writing them a support ticket.
