Easyanticheat not installed

Played earlier, now when I try and launch the game via steam it says Lauch error - Easy Anti Cheat not installed.

How do I fix this?

Yeah i just did it now since mine also gave me that error. only thing the setup does is repair your anticheat. Works. I tried other options like rerun the prequisites stuff, but that didnt work at all. seems this is the only option that truly works.

idk if its steam or smite , but ya i just played like less then 12 hrs ago was fine , and just try it now and get same error like wtf. ill try that idea tnx.

You SIR are a godsend, I have been back and forth with HI rez support for 2 days now and noone would help or give me a straight answer other than reinstall. which i did. several times. somewhow this fixed the problem.

I have it installed Easy Anti Cheat, but it just doesn't respond, and the game doesn't start at all. Is there a way to reinstall it
