hi rez need to explain what will happen to our progress

they said they will do something for longtime players and people who invested a lot into smite.

Note* they did say they won't replace SMITE, and it doesn't even have all the gods etc. it will be atleast a year or so before its maybe ready for public release.

I read thru the whole FAQ about it, tl;dr
Only Year 11 skins will progress to Smite 2
You will get the same amount of gems you bought/spend in Smite 1 as Legacy Gems in Smite 2
Legacy gems can only be used to pay for 50% of a skin price (so you gotta spend to use them up)
Based on hours spent on game (in matches) you will get Divine points, which you can spend on up to 11 skins in Smite 2
Some badges and all in Smite 2 for playing
Also, important vague wording they did, your Legacy Gems will be worth less as prices in Smite 2 will be different (higher), thus you wont have equal spending power as your gems in Smite 1, to get equal spending power you gotta own Founders Pack which will double your legacy gems, and that will give you equal spending which means your legacy gems not only wont be able to be directly spent but also will be worth 50% less than what you could get in Smite 1

they are gonna take away all our skins, because they dont want to transfer them over, since that is too much work and they cant be bothered how their fans feel. So to add insult to injury they will give you all yours gems back, but you cant use them normaly, since old gems only give you 50% discount to a new skins and if you want them you will have to pay again. Really giving a blizzard run for their money in terms of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequel

Not gonna bother reinstalling this again. they claim the care about us and come up with some BS reason that it takes them two months for a single skin to be ported from UE3 to UE5.. xD i honestly regret buying anything in this game now lol

its a new game of over ten years its not like call of duty that has a new game every year not transferring skins is fine especially if they are doing stuff for long time players... i mean they didnt have to make a new game they could of just made more skins lol who would want that id much rather have a new game

It seems as if the God Pack will not transfer and will be replaced by the Smite 2 Founder Pack, a new purchase option.
