I'm not even a fan of Hi-Rez, i just got banned for 3 days on smite 2 for 'griefing' after performing well in around 15 battles in a row and my team winning at least 15 out of the last 20 battles. Can't tell you the exact numbers cause i can't bloody log in.

Came to play SMITE 1 till they respond to my ticket, and i don't see how this game is better than 2.

okay i agree that whoever is responsible for policing players is a total idiot... if we remove this from the equation(while acknowledging that this on its own is a big enough reason to never play any hi-rez game) and just look at the game... tell me how it's better?

Ok il Enlighten you as i see you're new to smite just dont expect this to be an on-going debate.

1: And i cant believe i'm saying this as Smite 1 Has better Balance

2: No over saturated Graphics

3: Smite 2 skins and features cost more then in smite 1 while some Features in 1 are free that are not in smite 2

4: Both games are the same, the only difference between the two are the engines and smite 2 has a stealth grass/Aspects feature witch needs ALOT of balancing.

The only upside to smite 2 are the better graphics and the fact that its being focused on with constant updates, now il admit smite 1 was dead the very moment smite 2 was thought of. my only hope is that smite 2 dosen't die as well before i even see my fav main in the game lol...

I can go on and on about the different pro's and cons with both games but il leave it at that.

Not worth switching over to me, spent far too much $ on smite 1 to justify getting into 2 and doing it all again. Maybe if they did everything perfectly on 2 but they're dropping the ball and all i get for like 1k+ foolishly spent on 1 is half price skins if they dont keep increasing prices and some better graphics? meh would have rather just kept sinking money into 1. it functioned well enough and graphics for a moba is not very important

yeah honestly i just gave smite up entirely once 2 dropped unless there porting all skins no real reason for me to go to 2 as ive spent so much money and time on 1 and honestly i played a few games of 2 and it just felt like a worse smite 1 with worse balance and less champs. the only real upside i can say is that it gets updates other than that it just feels stupid to me they divided there already small base smaller

so you don't get irony and you really cant read,so smite 2 only has better graphics and had a fun blink that was it, smite 2 is damage on damage on damage no skill complete over tuned gods zero balanced and smite 2 did something wonder full that was lest get all the problem smite 1 had which were(for me) matchmaking tanks or hybrid build just w key you and you lose warriors and guardians can do 50% off you hp with no pen(even if you build a defence item) because of their scaling at least in smite 1 playing ranked gave some rewards for winning a set amount off games if you played well and dint get reported you a well fair chest.

No one asked for smite 2,after the release yes its release don't say its beta because it is not, they just gave everyone who ever spend money on the game a big middle finger.

Smite 2 was release based on someone who never ever listen to anyone in community and still doesn't listen so yeah we had decent 8-9 years where we actual had content creators and good community.

For your temp ban you are another toxic person that doesn't get the game.yes smite has been banning some accounts "randomly" but you gave no evidence off you not being toxic.

Its going to be really hard for them to endure has much has smite 1 a lot a mean a lot off the OG left because they ripped everyone off the last time i saw smite 2 only had 50% more off players off smite 1 which is bad really bad.

I mean imo smite 2 is more balanced and looks better visually, the only problem is that they care more about releasing skins and new gods than actually making the game playable. i have a 4080 setup and i cant even play the game without getting major lag spikes
(im talking like 3-5 second lag spikes and literally having fps issues) because the optimisation is basically non existent. If they actually cared about making the performance of the game good then yes, it would be better than smite 1 but because most people have issues and we cant even play the damn game, no... its not better than smite 1. Like think about it for a second... a 3k$ pc cant run a free to play game... pathetic. (oh and btw before you say idk what im talking about i literally have like 10k hours in smite)

it's quite literally just a glorified remake of the first game.... sure it has some differences but it's horribly imbalanced and is quite literally a pay to win game more so then the first game...
