To DEVs: PLEASE INCLUDE VOICE COMMANDS FOR CONTROLLER USERS.

I've been playing Smite for a long quite now. Is it so difficult to implement voice commands for controller users? It is perfectly implemented on the Xbox One, why not in the PC version also?

I want to buy some voice packs, but as it is now, it would be unuseful for me. I know many other people on the same situation.

thats like playing CSGO with a controller... You must be new to pc because anyone knows controllers have 2x the delay from user to game this the laser technology built into the mouse making reaction times 2x faster. Console peasents should stay on console

I don't think this guy cares about input delay or mouse polling or anything. His facts are his facts and there really isn't anything anyone can do.


Hi-Rez should just add in the voice commands from the XB1 so the lower tiers of players can at least try to communicate.

Input delay on a controller is close to 30ms where as a mouse can poll up to 1000 times a second. Fun fact.

Just so you know I made it to NOVA2 in CS:GO using a racing wheel. Its not like you are talking about an impressive rank. Anyone can make it to below the middle of the pile with a crap input and game knowledge.

Well I don't do ranked, but I play casuals with diamond and masters players, so make of that information what you will. I know everyone I play with would easily be able to tell you that the reason they lost a lane was because their mid or jungler never called missing or incoming.

As for the VGS, controller simply does not have enough buttons to have the full VGS on it, that's why Xbox has such a watered down version of it.

Plus, I could call missings easily with a controller. And seriously, not so many useful voice command. Attack, missing, gank, deffend and mid, left, right.
