Can't stream through smite and when i do i get black screen help

So I've been trying to stream smite through the stream thing and i manage to do it but a friend of mine said he was watching my stream and all he saw was a black screen and he heard no sounds does anyone know how to do this?

The in-game streaming thing is pretty garbage. You're better off using one of the already available broadcasters.
It actually requires you be on something that's not fullscreen. Windowed or windowed-fullscreen.

lawl now im just using it so i can get that twitch ymir skin. But is there a better way cause when i try to stream i sometimes crash and thats fun amiright.
