New player name

I just made an account and accepted the agreements, but now i cant create a player name. Ive tried shortening it writing numbers, nothing works and it doesnt even show an error. It just doesnt do anything when i press create.

I can make use of a popular hero name in games by small changes, or adding to it.
SuperMan, ThorBolt, Katman, IronStud, Flash_Beam, Ant-Man_Texas, Spyderman, Black Widder, Black Wilder, SpiderDog, WanderWench, Seargant Sock, Kaptain Amerika, JaneIsBombed, DragonLaid, Kat-hiss, Star_Bock, EowynGlade, Zena, XenaKantina. Also mis-apply words not normally used for names, with humor. Flechette, LazyLimpet, Sally Gate, HammerMaid, Lily_Lyre, TammyTavern, SirAuthorBardNot, DaffyWritLess, BlackAddled, PercyCamBlower, JaneJillJones, AnnieHickory, BonnieBook. Keep trying, good luck.

i fixed this problem very easily. I logged in my very old smite account :). but still pls try to fix this so others dont have to struggle

Just in case it might help: I've been able to create my player name like an hour ago. After receiving the message "That name is unavailable" (the player name was also used), I added a second word to the name and I got the message: "Sorry, that name cannot be used". The problem was that I was using a space character.

According to this: http://hi-rez.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/162/kw/player%20name

"The player name must be 4-15 characters in length. No numbers or special characters allowed. In addition, profanity is not allowed in any IDs, nor is the use of "HiRez" in any ID."

I'm having this issue as well, hopefully a fix is coming soon!

EDIT: I restarted my computer, and its working fine now.

Я решил это так. Скачал на ноут с офф сайта, прошол первое обучение, сел за ПК зашол через стим, ввёл пароль и логин на котором прошол обучение и играю всё работает, всё ОК.

Still having the problem. The game will not accept the names that I give it, all of which are within the parameters.

this no numbers/special characters feels like we're playing a 90's game. Sorry for necro, but just wanted to point that out as a potential new player.
